I am Monique Doucette, the owner and lead consultant of Trendsetter Home Staging & Design. I am passionate about my company because it combines my love for design, style and colour with my interest in helping people.

My talented team and I enjoy every aspect of creating beautiful living spaces for clients. We can guide you through the process of preparing your home for sale or help you to discover your own personal style.

They say your career path is a journey. I found my way to home staging after owning a furniture rental company while juggling a teaching career. During my time as a teacher, I specialized in Visual Arts where I nourished my creative side. These career paths have enhanced my problem-solving and refined my ability to listen carefully to the needs of clients. Always at the core of my business model, my teaching career has enabled me to juggle multi-tasking projects and work with other team members. Meeting the expectations of my clients is of prime importance to me.

I am a certified member of the Canadian Staging Professionals (CSP), which is recognized worldwide in the real estate industry. I currently sit on the Board of Directors of the Ottawa Chapter of the Real Estate Staging Association (RESA).
